英語も理解しますが、ホームの中では日本語で大丈夫です。
We understand English, so non-Japanese speakers can live comfortably too.　

-Japanese Cuisine

お食事は、主に日本食を基本に、栄養とバランス考えて準備させていただきます。
We mainly prepare nutritious Japanese food.

-Accepting Atmosphere

  このホームは、キリスト教とつながりがありますが、すべてのキリスト教のプログラムは自由参加で、他の宗教の人も、等しい尊敬をもってお世話されます。  　　　
  Although Calstar Home maintains a close connection with Christian religion, all Christian activities are voluntary bases and we respect all other religions.

-Christian, Caring Workers

ワーカーも殆どがクリスチャンで、キリストの愛と真心を持ってお世話させていただきす。 
 Most workers are Christians and strive to care with Christian love and a friendly heart.

Activities:

そのほか、シニアー・センターのフェローシップへの参加、フィールド・トリップなどもあります。裏庭では園芸を楽しんだり、またオーナーは書道教師の資格がありますから、書道を習うことも出来ますし、また時にはオーナーによる浪曲や、お招きする方々によるエンターテイナーなどを楽しむことが出来ます。
Activities include Senior Programs or field trips. At home, residents can enjoy gardening, Shodo (Japanese calligraphy), Rokyoku (traditional songs sung by the administrator) or various other forms of entertainment

キャルスター・ホームの一つの特徴は、入居者が自伝や思い出などを書いて本にして残すお手伝いをすることです。
One unique program of Calstar Home is facilitating residents in writing an
autobiography.

自分で書ける方は自分で書き、文を書くことが苦手な方は、口述筆記ででも、それは可能になるでしょう。
Even if he/she is unable to write it alone, the resident can have it transcribed.  The administrators will gladly help in this exciting process.

出来れば、製本したいと思います。それは子孫に対する素晴らしい、思い出になるでしょう。
The autobiography may even be bound, and would make a great memory for
generations to come.

費用 Fees

 費用は、それぞれのレジデントのコンディションによって異なります。基本になるレジデントは、助けなしに、シャワー、着替え、食事などの日常生活が自分で出来、月に１回位お医者さんに行く方です。
